Jerry & Kathleen Greager

Jerry Greager, Elder Class of 1947, and his wife Kathleen did many wonderful things throughout their lives. Jerry was a proud member of the Catholic Order of Foresters for over 70 years. He also served in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and fought in the Korean War. Jerry met his future wife, Kathleen while working together at Gulf Oil Corporation. They would later marry and while later working as a group sales manager for Coney Island and Kings Island for over 30 years, Jerry never looked at the work he did as a job since he had so much fun. Kathleen attended St. Margaret Mary grade school and then North College Hill for high School. She worked for many years on projects benefiting the patients at Drake Center and also volunteered at Our Lady of Perpetual Help. As devout Catholics and supporters of Catholic education, it is fitting that a generous portion of Jerry and Katleen’s estate went towards the creation of this scholarship at Elder High School.
