Jim & Mary Lou Haley
This scholarship was established to honor the legacy of service to the church and community that Jim and Mary Lou demonstrated throughout their lives. Jim, Elder Class of 1954, had a successful career in finance and was extremely active in Elder, his parish, and his church. Mary Lou was a Registered Nurse for over 50 years. Her tireless efforts and willingness to help others truly exemplified what service is meant to be.
Jim and Mary Lou’s children, Dan '80, Greg '82, and Tricia '91 (Seton), recognize how fortunate they were to be taught the value of hard work and to have received the benefits of a Catholic education. Their hope is that this scholarship will provide others the same opportunity.
