Jim & Margie Jansing

Jim Jansing, Elder Class of 1974, grew up in Price Hill and attended St. Dominic. His time at Elder was most memorable, and he places Elder as the BEST academic high school in the city. Jim credits his days at Elder for instilling a commitment of hard work, community service and a will to succeed. He has been married to Margie for over 45 years and they reside in North Bend. Jim is a partner with Keating Muething and Klekamp and works in the firm’s Business Representation & Transactions Group. His practice is concentrated in the general corporate, finance and international corporate areas. In 2009, Jim and Margie established this scholarship. Margie, a Seton graduate, is a huge Elder supporter, always attending Elder events and games, proudly wearing her purple! Jim is winding down his career at KMK but as a way to give back to the high school that gave him so much, he developed a business law curriculum and volunteers teaching young, aspiring Panther lawyers the ins and outs of being an attorney.
