Marlene Menchen

Marlene was a grade school classmate of longtime Elder teacher/basketball coach Paul “Hans” Frey and initially became involved with Elder as a result of her six-year participation in promoting his scholarship fund. Having firsthand experience with the quality of education provided by the Elder faculty reinforced Marlene’s decision to support the tuition assistance program. She created this named fund to help additional families in sending their sons to Elder and felt that adding another name to the scholarship list might encourage others to do likewise.
