48th Annual Elder Sports Stag
WILLIE ANDERSON, the NFL’s best turn-of-the-century right tackle, takes the stage as the featured speaker of the 48th Annual Elder Sports Stag on Friday, February 21, 2025.
Anderson, the All-American tackle out of Auburn University, was selected 10th overall in the 1996 NFL Draft by the Cincinnati Bengals. During his 13-year NFL career, the four-time Pro Bowler and three-time First Team All-Pro selection played in 195 games, starting 184, surrendering just 16 sacks along the way.

Born in Mobile, Alabama, Anderson was inducted into the Alabama Sports Hall of Fame in 2021. In 2022, he was enshrined in the Cincinnati Bengals Ring of Honor. A Finalist for the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2024, Anderson has advanced in the voting process for the Class of 2025.

All tickets include refreshments for the evening, buffet dinner, and program seating in the Fieldhouse. Patron guests ($175 ea.) will receive an Elder gift and enjoy a cocktail party, alongside our featured speaker, emcee, and other special guests, with heavy appetizers and high-end bar in the Schaeper Center. Our General guests ($100 ea.) will enjoy a cocktail party in the Cafeteria.
The Sports Stag is a men-only event. Must be 21 or older to attend. Proceeds from the Sports Stag benefit the faculty of Elder High School.
