Elder High School’s Board of Limited Jurisdiction recently approved tuition and fees for the 2018-2019 school year, resulting in an increase of $100. It is our lowest annual increase in 10 years. In addition to this annual review by our Board, we continually seek cost efficiencies and reductions to keep student fee increases to a minimum. The following is a 2018-2019 school year fee breakdown and year-over-year cost comparison:

Enrollment for the 2018-2019 school year is now open for sophomores, juniors and seniors. Directions for accessing the re-enrollment form were mailed to all current families on February 23. The re-enrollment fee of $100 per student is payable online by credit card or by mailing a check to Elder High School, ATTN: Re-Enrollment.  Please note your son's name and ID number on the memo line.  The re-enrollment deadline is March 30, 2018.

We will be sending you an email invitation to review and complete the set-up of your 2018-19 FACTS Tuition Management account on April 15, 2018.

Ohio 529 Plan FAQ

Following the passage of 2017’s Tax Cut and Jobs Act, funds in a 529 plan may be used for tuition, books, fees, computer technology, or room and board at a qualifying college and for up to $10,000 in tuition at a K-12 private or religious school.

Tuition Payment Options:

  • Pay in Full by June 8, 2018;
  • Make a partial payment by June 8, 2018, with the balance paid in the 10-month payment plan;
  • Make payments over 10 payment starting in July-April.  A payment plan fee of 4.35% is added to the total balance and split over the 10 monthly payments. Three monthly payment dates from which to choose for the year:  5th, 15th, 20th;
  • Payment plan balances can be paid off at any time with a credit for any remaining monthly plan fees.
