Elder High School, a Division I school offering a competitive program in every sport, has earned a strong athletic tradition and takes great pride in its accomplishments. Our athletic programs promote ideals that carry over from the classroom to the sports field and into the everyday life of our scholar athletes: teamwork, determination, and self-discipline.
Elder High School is proud to be home to some of the finest athletic facilities in the area. USA Today identifies Elder’s legendary football stadium, the Pit, as one of the premier venues at which to enjoy high school football. The Butch Hubert Family Panther Athletic Complex is a multi-sport complex that houses competition and practice facilities for golf, soccer, tennis, track & field and baseball at the recently opened Jack Adam Baseball Stadium.
Athletic accomplishments and pride notwithstanding, such impressive feats and facilities are all secondary to Elder’s ultimate mission: to prepare our students to be persistent in their study and work habits, tireless in their devotion to helping others, and diligent in building the Kingdom of God.
